This high-speed train design by Priestmangoode is aimed at becoming the new speedy way of getting around the UK. Dubbed the Mercury Train, it would zip around at speeds of up to 225 miles per hour.
The interior of the train would be a double-decker featuring various private areas, a lounge and a bar in addition to standard seating. It’s unusually long nose section would make it extra aerodynamic and efficient. Of course, for it to become a reality the British government would have to get behind it, and it sure doesn’t look like a cheap undertaking. But it’s so sleek! How can they say no?
