Floyd Mayweather Jr has issued an apology for his rant on UStream Thursday (September 2) against Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd received a lot of criticism for some of the language he used when talking about the Filipino boxing champion, while discussing their potential blockbuster fight.

Some have suggested that Floyd was being racist when he said Manny would have to bring him some sushi and rice” and he would cook Pacquiao “with some cats and dogs.”

Before apologizing, Floyd reiterated his belief that he is the best boxer in the world.

Manny Pacquiao is a good fighter,” Floyd said this morning. “He truly believes that he’s one of the best, but the thing I know is that I am the best. See, he’s one of the best, I am the best, that’s the difference. To all the Manny Pacquiao fans, stand behind him. Even when we meet up and I beat him.

Floyd took time to send his condolences out to Paquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, who’s son was found dead Thursday. John Arum fell more than 300 feet while climbing Storm King mountain in Washington.

“I just wanna say God bless to Bob Arum and his whole family because I heard that Bob Arum’s son had a bad accident. It’s all love to the Arum family. I wish you guys nothing but the bestMayweather said.

“And I do wanna apologize for what happened the other night. Everyone said they thought it was a racist comment that came from me. I don’t have a racist bone in my body, I love everybody. Some of my guys are Muslims, some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, white, it doesn’t matter. It’s nothing but love in my heart. If anyone was affected by what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. Forgive me for saying what I said. I was just having fun, I didn’t really mean it…nothing in a bad way. So let’s get on this roller coaster ride and keep riding, it’s all loveThat’s what’s up, now can we please get this fight signed?
